Belt Size Chart

US rule of thumb: belt label ≈ waist +2 in (32 in waist → belt 34). Measure where the belt will sit—do not assume pants W equals belt size. Pair with a jeans / waist size chart if you only know your pant size.

+2 inch rule disclaimer

US casual belts often label waist +2 in. EU brands may list total strap length in cm. Measure where the belt sits—not pants vanity W.

How to measure for a belt

  1. Stand normally in the pants you will wear with the belt.
  2. Wrap a soft tape at belt height—snug, not tight.
  3. Match inches on the chart (or use waist +2 for US casual labels).
  4. On the belt, prefer a middle hole when buckled.
